About This Project

The Innovia Foundation and A Picture's Worth are gathering voices from all 20 counties of Eastern Washington and North Idaho — a regional record of how neighbors define and celebrate their America at 250.

Each county holds a Story Table event: community members arrive with a photograph of something they value in their America today, and share the story behind it. Around the table, those stories are heard aloud. Here, they are recorded and preserved.

How to share your story: Choose the county you live in. Take a photo (or upload one you brought with you). Then tell us your name and share what you value in your America today — up to 5 minutes. You'll be asked to review a short release agreement before your story is submitted.
